What Does this lipid Profile Result Mean?

My latest lipid profile and blood sugar report done on 21 Feb 2015 shows: Hb1Ac -6.6, Total Cholesterol: 234, Triglycerides: 171, HDL: 52, LDL: 148, VLDL: 34 and it is after taking Gemfibrozil 600 mg BD, Metformin 500 mg BD, Gliclazide 80 mg. Kindly advise further.

Hello

Present findings suggest borderline cholesterol level and mildly increased LDL level.
Other factors are almost normal.

You are doing well with medicines and you should take it continuously.
Additionally you should avoid fatty food and go for brisk walk.
Take lot of fibers in your diet in the form of fruits and vegetables.
